Now that you’ve seen the video I want to ask you a question. How’s your heart? Not your physical heart in your chest, but the essence of who you are.
Proverbs 4:23 says “Guard your heart above all else, for it is the source of life”
Like the lady in the video we all get so busy doing. We do work, we do chores, we do families, we do relationships, we do parenting, we do life, we do worship rehearsal and we do church. But what if doing isn’t what we are supposed to be about?
It happens, life becomes my calendar of to do lists. Meetings, kids to pick up, kids to drop off, meetings to attend and tasks that have to be finished before deadlines.
This is a simple challenge friends. If you are simply checking the box that you did worship, did your devotions, read your Bible, played on the worship team, ushered, taught Sunday school or whatever else you may have done to serve God, something is wrong.
Our Worship to Him must come before our ministry for Him! Serving God never substitutes for your relationship with Him!
